2ndCourt offers several ways for players to compete, whether they prefer structured tournaments, ongoing leagues, or the upcoming pyramid system. Competitions are a great way to track progress, challenge others, and rise through the global rankings.

  1. Tournaments -> single elimination tournaments great for players that want to test their skills in competitions that resemble those of professional tennis competitions
  2. Leagues -> single or double round robin leagues can be created where players can be seeded in groups based on their skill level and is great for players that want to have scheduled competitive matches
  3. Pyramids -> currently we are working on these types of competition

Tournaments

Tournaments on 2ndCourt are single-elimination events — perfect for players who want to test their skills in a format that mirrors professional tennis competitions.

  • Players advance through rounds by winning their matches.

  • The Tournament Bracket View gives a clear overview of all rounds and matchups.

  • Players can submit match results directly from the tournament interface and follow their progress in real time.

Leagues

Leagues provide a round-robin structure, allowing each player to face multiple opponents over a longer period.

  • Can be organized as single or double round robin formats.

  • Players can be seeded into groups based on their skill level or ranking.

  • Each League features a simple, clean overview showing standings, scheduled matches, and participants.

  • Match results can be submitted directly within the League view.

Pyramids

Pyramid competitions are currently in development and will soon offer a new way for players to challenge and climb ranks through a dynamic ladder-style format.
