How to Submit Match Results on 2ndCourt

Submitting Match Results

Submitting match results is one of the core features of 2ndCourt. Each result you submit counts toward your Global Rankings (Global Rankings on 2ndCourt explained).

This guide walks you through how to find the option, fill out the form, and confirm your results.

1. Where to Find “Submit Match Result”

There are two ways to access the result submission form:

  1. User Menu
    • Click on your avatar in the top-right corner.

Select Submit Match Result from the dropdown menu.

  2. Feed Quick Link
    • On the right side of your Feed, you’ll see a Quick Link to submit results.

2. The Submit Match Result Form

The form includes the following fields and options:

  • Proposed Date – The date the match was played.
  • Location – Venue and court address (optional).
  • Final Set Tiebreak – Choose whether the final set was played as a tiebreak.
  • Player 1 – Always you (the user submitting). This field cannot be changed.
  • Set Scores – Enter results for up to 5 sets.
    • If you only played 1 set, it still registers as a match result.
    • Each set includes a + button to add a tiebreak score.
  • Player 2 – Your opponent. You can:
    • Search by username (if they’re on 2ndCourt).
    • Enter their email (the system will suggest their account if they’re registered).

When you’re finished, click Submit Results.

3. Reviewing Your Submission

After clicking Submit Results, a confirmation pop-up appears where you can double-check the details.

4. Result Confirmation Flow

Confirmation flow

Once you confirm:

  • Your opponent will receive a notification and an email asking them to review the result.
  • In their Feed, a notification will appear prompting them to either Approve or Change the result. (Screenshot here)

If the opponent approves:

  • The result becomes official.
  • It will be published in the Feed.
  • ELO rankings will update automatically.

If the opponent changes:

  • They’ll be taken back into the form to edit the result.
  • The new version becomes final.
Note: Once the result has been changed, it is final. Only Admin or Super Admin can delete or override a result afterward.
