Venue Listings and Venues

One of 2ndCourt’s main features is the ability to book or reserve a court. 2ndCourt offers two ways for users to book a court:

  1. Step-by-step booking – click the link for the article explaining this type of booking.
  2. Calendar booking – click the link for the article explaining this type of booking.

Within this article, we will cover both options.

Venue Listings

In the header navigation, click on Venue Listings to open a list of venues. Each venue card displays key information, including:

  • Available for Booking: Shows if the venue is open for booking. Venues may also display "Closed for bookings" if not available.
  • Venue Name
  • Venue Address
  • Court Type: Displayed as a colored circle with a number representing the number of courts. Court colors:
    • Orange → Clay
    • Green → Grass
    • Blue → Hard
💡 Tip: Use the search and filter options in Venue Listings to quickly find courts by surface type, availability, or location.

Clicking on a venue card takes you to the Venue Page.

Venue Page

The Venue Page shows full details about the venue, some of which are not visible in the listings. You also have a "BOOK A COURT" button that takes you to the booking page.

Note: Public courts are open to all users, while private courts may require membership or invitation. This distinction is important when choosing a venue. For more details, see our article on Public vs Private Courts.
